Meredith Grey, daughter of renowned surgeon Ellis Grey, is selected as an intern at Seattle Grace Hospital, where she meets Cristina, Izzie, George and Alex who are also interns; In addition to meeting Dr. Miranda Bailey, Dr. Derek Shepherd, Dr. Preston Burke, Dr. Richard Webber, chief surgeon and hospital administrator.
