Four basic chords on the ukulele
The ukulele is an easy instrument to learn, and quickly
rewarding. You can play a bunch of songs using only 4 chords. It’s hard to
practice unless you have an ukulele constantly at your disposal. Get hold of
one some way or another.
There are some importante things you have to know about the
ukulele:

It is usually tuned: G C E A

The strings are counted backwards – A is the 1st
string, G is the 4th string.

the frets. The very first line it’s going to be the nut, the line after that is
the 1st fret and so forth.

you’ll have the C chord. It’s going to look like that:
Chord 2
For the Am chord you just have to put your middle finger on
the second fret of the 4th string. That way:
Chord 3
Put down your index finger on the first fret of the 2nd
string and your middle finger on the second fret of the 4th string. That way
you’ll have a F chord:
Chord 4
To the G chord put you index finger on the second fret of
the 3rd string, your middle finger on the second fret of the 1st string and
your ring finger on the third fret of the 2nd string. Should look like that:
Knowing those 4 chords you can play a bunch of songs.
Remember, one of the biggest mistakes you com make, as a new ukulele player, is
to rush the process. Take your time and have fun!
