•The plot:
Greys anatomy starts showing five interns of a surgery program in Seattle Grace
Hospital. It is a very competitive program and the interns have to work hard to keep on it.
Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) is the main character; her mother was a renowned
surgeon, now she has Alzheimer. Meredith starts to have an affair with a resident
doctor named Derek Shepherd and try to keep it in secret. During the series, therel are
many tragedies and a lot of people die. Meredith Grey became a fantastic general surgeon
and her best friends are Cristina Yang, a heart surgeon that have an unusual talent and
Alex Karev, a pediatric surgeon who gets into many troubles but he makes everything to
save babies and children’s lives. Currently, Greys Anatomy is releasing its 13th season
and just two of the interns from the beginning are on Seattle Grace that was named Grey-
Sloan Memorial Hospital.
This is my favorite series because it shows the day to day of doctors. This series teach
us to give value for simple attitudes and enjoy who are always on our side. Also, that
life goes very fast and we have to live it intensely. There are some very sad episodes
and the scenes seems very real. It is an inspiration for who wants to be a doctor and I
recommend for people that like drama series. People like this series very much,
because even being released in 2005, its one of the most watched series until today
and Shonda Rhimes, the writer
goes,it will continue while it’s successful, she says.
•The Soundtrack:
The soundtrack of the series is very sad and dramatic but it’s very good, Chasing
Cars is one of the most important songs in the series, because is used on some
important episodes. The Fray's, "How to Save a Life" and "Breathe In, BreatheOut"
are very used and played in the series too.
