How to make the “shooting stars” meme

Hey, you wanna be a badass and make one of the most famous meme about songs? So you need to learn about “shooting stars” (and listen, obvious).

If you don't know what is the "shooting star meme" watch this video:

MATERIALS

-A pc (the complet kit).

-Some program that make video editions (Sony Vegas recommended).

-A video of someone falling.

-Basic knowledge on video editor

STEP BY STEP

PART 1

1) You need to open the applicative (I gonna use Sony Vegas), with that you already can open the vídeo that you wanna transform on the “shooting star meme”. Push “Ctrl+O” and locate your vídeo on PC.

(I change the vídeo that i would use, but it doesn’t matter)

2) Now you aready can play the video and you will need to locate the part that have someone falling (preferably) and cut (push “S”) on the moment that the “person” start to fall until the moment that the person comes on the ground.

PART 2

3) You have transform the “cut” vídeo on a chroma key, that is put the person falling on a green screen. You gonna need open the “Event Pan/Crop”

a a) Ativate the “Mask” option and use the “Anchor Creation tool (D) ”

This part is very hard, so pay attention:

a b) You will need to “round” the vídeo pixel by pixel, firstly, using the “Anchor Creation tool (D) ” and make this:

c) After round the image pass the pixel for the next pixel.

d) Create a new KeyFrame (green bottom on the base). Reset the mask and make over and over again until end the ”jump”

PART 3

4) Insert a new vídeo track and put the “rounded cut vídeo” on there.

a) Drag the vídeo to the new track

5) with the new video track push on “Media generator” and search for “Solid Color”, after this pick the “green” and drag to the old vídeo track

6) Render the "Chroma key part" and open up again on the original vídeo.

7) press “U” with the focus on the "chroma key vídeo" and drag to another side to separate the vídeo from the áudio (delete this audio after).

8) Search the “shooting star” music on your PC (you have to download it)

Drag the music to your Project and put the part of the music with higher frequency on the chroma key vídeo (Have to be align).

9) Drag the "chroma key vídeo" to the 1th vídeo track and search vídeo of galaxy on your PC and drag to the 2nd vídeo track (take off the áudio of this vídeo too).

10) Copy the "chroma key vídeo" and paste over and over again, but after this you have to make a system like: 1-0-1-0-1-0. The “1” is the normal vídeo, the “0” is the vídeo on reverse mode, to make this just press the right buttom of the mouse and click on “reverse”.
